The Role:
Providing leadership, care, and direction for the church’s children’s and youth ministries. This role exists to develop and empower leaders, disciple children and young people, and ensure our next-generation ministries are healthy, engaging, and aligned with the wider mission of the church. 

Key Responsibilities:

Children’s Ministry
•	Provide leadership, vision, and spiritual direction for our Sunday children’s ministry Kids 4 Christ (K4C), ensuring excellence, consistency and engagement.  
•	Develop, adapt, or design children’s curriculum as needed to support spiritual formation for ages 0-12yrs. 
•	Recruit, train, equip, and pastorally care for children’s ministry volunteers, building healthy and sustainable teams. 
•	Maintain meaningful engagement with children and families beyond Sunday gatherings. 
•	Plan and execute key children’s ministry events and seasonal moments which include Vacation Bible School, Easter, Christmas and other significant dates.  
•	Ensure safeguarding policies and best practices are implemented faithfully across all children’s ministry contexts. 
•	Manage budgets and resources aligned with growth and development of ministries.  

Player Coaching and Pastoral Care Oversight

•	Provide supervision and pastoral oversight to the Youth Pastor and Children’s Ministry staff. 
•	Meet regularly with the Youth Pastor for encouragement, development, and alignment of vision and wider mission and values of the church. 
•	Support healthy transitions between children and youth ministries celebrating graduation and spiritual milestones. 

•	Provide pastoral care to children, youth and parents, as appropriate, building trust-filled relationships with families across the congregation.  

Pastoral Team

•	Participate in regular supervision, staff meetings, and team rhythms. 
•	Contribute positively as a team player within the staff and pastoral culture. 

Skills & Experience Required:
•	Minimum 7+ years of experience working with children/youth.

Please note that this position is not based in the United Kingdom, and the successful candidate will be required to relocate to and live in Hong Kong.
